Meet Lindsay, our owner, signature stylist, and the heart and soul of Fiolet Hair! Linds began her journey at 16 in her local salon in Belmont, had a brief detour into bookkeeping in London before returning to Perth and resurrecting her true passion, hairdressing. She now holds 19+ years of industry experience and has completed extensive training to master her skills to become a certified Wella Color Expert. Lindsay is passionate about all aspects of colour and styling (she even still enjoys when someone books a perm), but her favourite technique would have to be foiling - “I love how I can change the placement to create texture and movement in the hair or to enhance certain areas.” Her advice for aspiring stylists? "Listen and watch as much as possible! Every stylist has their own approach, and practice is key. Don’t underestimate the importance of cleaning, and apprentices know the salon flow better than anyone!" Fun fact - Lindsay is also the Secretary at her local Sports & Recreation Club. “I love it! It’s been a great growth experience for me, especially since I’m always on the go!”

Meet Tori, our Master Stylist and Chief of Social Media at Fiolet Hair! With over 8 years in the industry, Tori’s favourite part of her job is the connections she builds with our wonderful clients. She believes that a well-rounded skill set is essential, as it forms the backbone of a successful hairdressing career. Tori loves learning and expanding her skills, finding joy in the creativity of cutting, the glamour of styling, and the magic of colouring. Her journey into hairdressing was unexpected. After studying mechanics and engineering throughout her school years, Tori realised her true passion after volunteering as a hair model, leading her to an apprenticeship that she immediately fell in love with. Her advice for aspiring stylists? “It’s so worth it! The journey can be weird and winding as you switch from client to stylist, and it’s both emotionally and physically challenging, but persevere, being on the other side is incredible!” Fun fact - Tori is a proud animal lover with two dogs, three cats, and a husband! (Also believes she was a comedian in her past life!) Tori and her husband share a love for cars and mountain biking, and when she’s not at the salon, she’s gearing up to participate in GravelRoads, Dwellingup 100, & Cape2Cape in 2025.

Meet Kätlin, our Salon Coordinator and Master Stylist at Fiolet Hair! Kätlin has been passionate about hairdressing since she was just 5 years old, and has been on a mission to make that dream a reality ever since. Today, she holds 7 years within the industry, both obtained here in Australia and in her home country of Finland. Kätlin specialises in Scandi blondes and precision cutting, bringing a wealth of knowledge to every appointment. Her consultations are thorough and insightful, ensuring you leave the salon with exactly what you envisioned. Her advice for aspiring stylists? “Forget leg day at the gym! Being a hairdresser means you’ll be on your feet all day, so you’ll get plenty of leg work in.” In addition to her cutting and colouring expertise, Kätlin also offers eyebrow and eyelash tinting services at Fiolet Hair which clients can add onto their hair appointments. Fun fact - Kätlin was born in Estonia and is a true powerhouse who speaks four languages! When she’s not in the salon, you can find her hosting gatherings and whipping up delicious meals for friends. She shared that if she wasn’t a hairdresser, she’d probably be running her own catering business!
